Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 package frozen green peas
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan with a thick bottom heat the oil, add the onion and fry for 5 minutes, add the garlic and cumin, cook for 1 minute.
  • Add the peas and broth. We bring the soup to a boil, reduce the fire cover with a lid and leave to cook another 15 crumple.
  • Remove the soup from the heat, add pepper and pour everything into a blender. Beat to a pulp.
  • Season with salt to taste. Serve with sour cream or delicious Greek yogurt and crackers.
