- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2-3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 package frozen green peas
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
In a saucepan with a thick bottom heat the oil, add the onion and fry for 5 minutes, add the garlic and cumin, cook for 1 minute.
Add the peas and broth. We bring the soup to a boil, reduce the fire cover with a lid and leave to cook another 15 crumple.
Remove the soup from the heat, add pepper and pour everything into a blender. Beat to a pulp.
Season with salt to taste. Serve with sour cream or delicious Greek yogurt and crackers.
