Vegetables from French.

-Asparagus 300 gr.
-Carrot 200 g.
-Broccoli 200 gr.
-Potatoes 300 gr.
-Cauliflower 250 gr.
-Butter 75-150 gr.
-Walnut nutmeg 1/4 hours. L.
-Asafoetida 1/4 hours. L.
-Flour 90 gr.
-125 ml warm milk.
-Sol 2 h. L.

Cook steamed vegetables. They must be fully prepared, but still quite solid.
Dissolve in a small saucepan over moderate heat oil. Remove from heat.
Put asafoetida and nutmeg.
With a wooden spoon stir in flour until smooth paste.
Pour the milk in a thin stream, stirring constantly.
Again, put the pan on the heat and bring the sauce to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute, until the sauce thickens and is smooth.
Add salt and pepper.
Add cheese.
Put vegetables into the sauce and mix well.
