Toast with cheese sauce and Jerry


1 white onion
30 g butter cl
1 tbsp / L flour
300ml milk
a pinch of nutmeg
salt and pepper
100g parmesan / cheddar / pekkorino
cherry tomatoes
grain mustard
thyme or other herbs
a few drops of Worcestershire sauce / soy sauce

1. In a skillet heat the oil sl, add chopped onion. Sauté until soft. Pour the flour and fry for 30 seconds stirring. Pour the warm milk and stir until thick finish. Along with salt and pepper and add nutmeg to taste.
2. As the sauce thickens pour grated cheese and stir until smooth.
3. On a lightly dried bread put a layer of grain mustard, top a generous layer of cheese sauce.
4. Arrange the chopped tomatoes, salt and pepper, add the thyme, sprinkle with soy or Worcestershire sauce and bake at 200-230 C 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
Serve hot!
