Tasty and healthy Sweets “Panforte”

• 125 grams of hazelnuts
• 125 grams of almonds
• 100 grams of dried apricots
• figs
• 100 grams of brown sugar
• 60 grams of wheat flour
• 40 grams of cocoa powder
• 2 tsp lemon zest
• 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
• 200 grams of honey
• 40 grams of powdered sugar

Cooking method:
1. Fry the hazelnuts in a frying pan, put in a towel and rub to clean from the husk.
2. Largest chop almonds, dried fruit cut into small pieces. All the ingredients connect and add the chopped lemon zest. Mix the flour with spices and cocoa, and the mixture, add the nuts and dried fruit and mix well.
3. In a small saucepan, mix the honey with sugar and heat the mixture over low heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally. Bring the mixture to a boil. Pour the hot syrup into the nuts and dried fruits, and quickly mix. Act fast – the resulting mass quickly thickens.
