Sweets to the New Year’s table: preparing panpepato

What do you need:

-Roasted shelled almonds – 100 g
-Shelled walnuts – 100 g
-Roasted hazelnuts – 100 g
-Candied orange – 100g
-Seedless raisins – 100 g
-Bitter chocolate – 150 g
-Honey – 200g
-Powdered cinnamon – 1 tsp..
-Nutmeg – ½ tsp..
-Ground black pepper – ½ tsp..
-Flour – 2-3 tbsp. l.

Sweets to the New Year's table: preparing panpepato


1.Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
2. Raisins soaked in warm water for half an hour. Nuts coarsely chop.
3. Grate the chocolate on a coarse grater, mix with nuts and candied fruit, add the raisins and spices.
4. Honey is heated in a water bath to a liquid state, then remove from heat and cool slightly.
5. Add hot honey in the dough, add the flour and mix thoroughly.
6. In the form put the parchment, grease it with vegetable oil and put the dough.
7. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool, remove from the mold and remove the parchment.
