Sweet pastries, “churros”

The tradition of cooking churros cookie originated and developed in Spain. Usually sweet fried pastries of choux pastry traditionally served for breakfast.


Flour – 180 g
Protein – 1 pc.
Water – 250 mL
Milk – 125 ml
Salt- 0.5 tsp.
Sugar – 2 tbsp. l.
Vegetable oil (for frying)


1. Combine milk, water, sugar and salt in a deep container, bring to a boil. Stir in the sifted flour and mix all until smooth. After removing from heat, allow to cool a little and knead the dough for 2-3 minutes.
2. Add egg white and then knead the dough until uniform. You should now have a smooth, fairly thick batter.
3. Heat a large amount of oil in a frying pan (you can use the deep fryer) and fry sticks until golden horseshoe-state. Squeeze the dough in the form of sticks or podkovok with pastry syringe with a nozzle with an asterisk and “cut off” the end of the scissors.
4. Prepare the first to board the first 3-4 and pieces until they are fried, do the following. Be accustomed, churros can be extruded directly into the boiling oil.
5. Then, pulling, lay on paper towels to remove excess oil. Classic churros sprinkled with nothing, but they are often served lightly sprinkled with sugar or powdered.
