Puffs with apples “Roses”.

-250 g flaky unleavened dough (pre-defrost)
-2 apples (preferably red)
-3 tbsp sugar
-powdered sugar for sprinkling

Very popular puffs recipe with apples. They have an unusual shape, taste – sweet baked apple slices and crunchy dough. Wrap and prepare them much easier than it seems at first glance. By themselves, almost sweet puff, if you want a sweeter option, they must be well sprinkled with powdered sugar. It turns out about 12 pieces.


1.Apples cut into quarters, cut the inedible parts.

2.Cut thin slices of 2 mm thickness.

3.In a pan pour 200 ml of water, bring to a boil.

4.Add the sugar.

5.Put apple slices in boiling water.

6.Cook for about 2-3 minutes, then drain the water (apples should be flexible).

7.Thawed dough roll out thinly (1-2 mm thick).

8.Cut into strips 3 cm wide and 25-30 cm in length.

9.On a strip of dough to put 5 slices of apple, slightly overlapping.

10.Slices should be one-third above the top edge of dough.

11.Carefully wrap the strip into a tube.

12.Tucked inside the bottom edge of the dough.

13.Ready to put roses on a baking sheet, the laid paper baking.

14.Put in a preheated 200 degree oven. Bake for about 30 minutes.

15.Ready puff completely cool.

16.Sprinkle with powdered sugar puff through a strainer.
