For salad dressing:

  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 – 2 anchovy fillets
  • 2 tbsp. l. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped
  • 1.5 h. L. finely grated lemon zest
  • 1/2 h. L. Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 h. L. honey
  • 1/8 h. L. hot sauce
  • 2.1 h. L. white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the salad:

  • 4 – 5 young cabbages red romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Croutons, for sprinkling
  • Fresh lemon juice is sprayed for

Prepare the salad dressing: Mix in a blender lemon juice, anchovies, worcestershire sauce, egg yolk, vegetable oil, garlic, lemon zest, mustard, honey, hot sauce and vinegar.

If filling has turned too thick, dilute with a little cold water.
Stir in Parmesan and put in a cold place.

Prepare salad: romaine lettuce cut into wide strips along. Put leaves in a large bowl, add 1-2 tbsp. l. filling and gently mix. Put lettuce on a large platter, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and croutons.
Before serving, pour the Caesar salad with lemon juice.
