Preparation baklava rolls


  • 450 gr. coarsely chopped blanched almonds
  • 450 gr. coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 4 sheets of filo dough
  • 600 gr. melted butter


  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/8 cup honey
  • 1 lemon slice (thickness 0.3 cm)
  • 1 cinnamon stick (5 cm.)
  • 2 clove bud

Preparation baklava:
In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients for the syrup. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove the lemon and spices. Allow to cool.

Preheat oven to 205 ° C.

In a bowl, combine almonds, walnuts, sugar, cinnamon and ground cloves. Take 4 sheets of phyllo dough and brush each sheet with melted butter, laying on each other’s lists as lubrication.
