Potatoes in a spicy red sauce.
Ingredients:
-small potatoes 500g.
-red chili pepper 1 pc.
-cumin 1.5 h. liter.
-4 cloves of garlic pieces.
-sunflower / olive oil 4 tbsp. l.
-lime juice 1 tbsp. l.
-1/2 cup water
-tomato paste 2 tbsp. l.
-chopped basil 60 gr.
-salt to taste
-sugar 1 hour. L.
Preparation:
Boil the potatoes.
Rastolchite cumin seeds in a mortar and garlic.
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Put the cumin, garlic, tomato paste, lime juice, salt, basil and sugar. Mix and hold until the oil separates.
Add water and stir.
Put the potatoes and stir until it was completely in the sauce. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Serve with fresh basil.
