The famous potato grandmother! Great simple dish of Belarusian cuisine.
Ingredients:
1 kg of potatoes.
pepper 1/4 hour. l.
2-4 pieces of bacon strips.
onion 1 piece.
sour cream 2 tbsp. l.
salt 1/2 hours. l.
Egg 1 pc.
Preparation:
Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry it to get cracklings.
Remove the bacon and drain off most of the fat, leaving about 1.5 tablespoons of the pan. This fat fry finely chopped onions. Salt it.
Meanwhile, grate the potatoes.
Drain the excess liquid, however, so that the potatoes was dry. Do not squeeze it!
Add sour cream, egg, onion, bacon, salt, pepper.
And fill the molds with the mixture. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 375F degrees.
Serve with sour cream and herbs. Especially good with green onion
