However, of the many recipes listed on the Internet, we can distinguish the basic ingredients that are less suitable for the “original” meat alla Pizzaiolo: meat (chicken, pork, veal), fresh tomatoes, tomatoes, canned in own juice, dried oregano, black olives, garlic, black pepper powder. The rest – the imagination and culinary tastes.

-Thin (0.5-0.8 mm) slices of meat (chicken, pork or veal) – 300 gr.
-Garlic – 2 cloves
-Pitted black olives – 50 g.
-Fresh tomatoes – 100 gr.
-Tomatoes canned in sob.soku – 100 gr.
-Capers – 10 c.
-Olive oil – 4 tbsp
-Ground black pepper, salt – to taste
-Red hot pepper – optional
-Fresh green basil or parsley – optional

Cooking process:
In a frying pan or skillet, in hot olive oil, fry the garlic (and red hot pepper if desired) until golden, then remove.

Fresh Tomatoes pour over boiling water, peel, cut into medium-sized cubes with tomatoes canned in its own juice. Sliced ​​tomatoes with juice, pour into the pan and bring to a boil. After 3-5 min. Add the dried oregano, capers, salt, ground black pepper to taste.

Then, in the boiling tomato sauce, add the olives and thinly sliced ​​meat and continue to simmer until cooked about 7-10 minutes over medium heat.

3 min. before the end of cooking, add the optional chopped parsley or basil.
