The highlight of this Manna – adding to the dough coconut and impregnation of the finished cake thick sugar syrup with the lemon juice and zest. As usual manna and turns into Eastern sweets, from which it is simply impossible to break away.

semolina 1 tbsp.
curdled Article 0.5.
vegetable oil 1/3 Art.
Sugar 1.5 Art.
2 tablespoons flour
coconut 2 tbsp
1 g vanillin
baking powder 1 tsp
water 1 tbsp.
4 tablespoons lemon juice
Eggs 2 pcs.

Beat the eggs with a half cup of sugar until smooth.

Add refined vegetable oil and yogurt (you can substitute yogurt or yogurt) and mix.

Add the liquid mixture of semolina, flour, coconut and baking powder.

Mix dough to avoid lumps. Put in the form of a diameter of 22 cm, lined with parchment. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

While the cake is baked, prepare the syrup: combine water, sugar (1 cup) and lemon juice. I still add to the syrup with the cut tape peel of half a lemon (yellow part only). Syrup bring to a boil, simmer 20 minutes. Ready to get the cake out of the oven without removing from the mold, cut into portions pieces and pour the hot syrup. Cover the form with a towel and let the syrup to be absorbed completely, and cake – cool.

The cooled cake can be sprinkled with powdered sugar or coconut.

A delicious addition to a cup of morning tea is ready.
