
Iceberg lettuce with blue cheese dressing
Iceberg lettuce blue cheese dressing – detailed recipe.
Ingredients:
- 2 iceberg lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, finely diced
- 10 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup buttermilk or low-fat yogurt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1.5 h. L. garlic powder
- 1.5 h. L. onion powder
- 170 gr. crumbled blue cheese (about 1.5 cups)
- Freshly ground pepper
Preparation:
In the mixer bowl, combine lemon juice, mayonnaise, buttermilk, sour cream, garlic and onion powder. Mix until smooth. Add the cheese and mix thoroughly. Chill in a refrigerator in a sealed container for 2 hours.

Each head of iceberg lettuce, cut into 4 pieces, after removing the core. On each piece of lettuce lay on a generous spoonful of filling on top, sprinkle with bacon and tomatoes. Season with black pepper.
