Hrayme

Simple recipe hrayme. Hrayme — a traditional North African dish of fish in a spicy tomato sauce, which became widespread in the Middle East and Israel.

Ingredients
-500 g white fish fillets (cod, mullet, etc.)
-3 cloves garlic
-1/3 tsp cayenne pepper
-1 tsp ground paprika
-1/2 tsp ground cumin
-1 tsp Sahara
-1 can of tomatoes in own juice (420g) or 3 large tomatoes
-1 sweet red pepper
-1 onion
-3-4 tbsp vegetable oil
-salt, ground black pepper, to taste
-finely chopped green coriander or parsley
-100-200 mL. hot water or fish broth

Cooking
The fish is cut into portions.
Onions and garlic are clear. Onion cut into thin half-rings, garlic finely chopped.
Pepper wash, dry, remove seeds and cut into thin strips are not long.
In a frying pan with high sides or a skillet heat the vegetable oil.
Add to the pan and fry the onion until transparent.
Add bell pepper and fry, stirring, for 1-2 minutes.
Add diced tomatoes with juice and stir.
Add cayenne pepper, paprika, cumin, sugar, garlic, salt and pepper dish.
Pour water or fish broth.
Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer on low heat for 10-12 minutes.
Spoon the sauce pieces of fish.
Increase heat to medium and simmer for 10-15 or until fish.
The finished dish sprinkle with herbs.
