Greek pita.

The famous Greek pita is easy to make at home.

18 g yeast
1 kg of flour
15 g salt
10g sugar
olive oil 30 g
water 690 g

In a bowl, mix the dry yeast, sugar, and olive oil, add 175 g of warm water and left for 10-15 minutes.

The resulting mixture add the sifted flour.

Pour another 515 g of warm water, add salt and knead the dough.

The finished dough is divided into portions of 100 g Cover with towel and let stand for 30 minutes.

Roll out each ball into a cake, put on a baking sheet and send in a preheated 235 degree oven for 5-7 minutes.

Ready to get the pita, when applying grease with olive oil, sprinkle with dry oregano and fry on the grill.
