Ingredients:
40 medium and 20 large cookies:

250g cold unsalted butter
1 tsp soda
560g plain flour
To the hot mixture:
5 tbsp water
210 g sugar korichneovgo

1 tsp ground cloves

Preparation:
Put all the ingredients for the hot mixture into a deep pan with a thick bottom and stir, bring to a boil.

Once the mixture is smooth, add the baking soda and mix well again.

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for a couple of hours, and preferably overnight.
