German “currywurst”.

This is a wonderful dish of German sausages, stewed in a spicy tomato sauce – it will appreciate the man!

Currywurst in Germany belongs to the category of fast food. This fried sausage, served in a special tomato sauce with Indian curry. Delicious, simple and very appetizing!

This dish can be cooked at home quite easily and serve with a side dish as a main or as a snack without garnish.


500g pork sausages / wieners

400g canned tomatoes without skin

Sugar 100 g

50 g of red wine vinegar

1 onion

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 tablespoon curry powder and paprika spicy ground


How to cook:

Haskalah in a large frying pan vegetable oil, put the chopped onion and fry for 10 minutes over medium heat until soft.

Pour the curry to the onions and paprika, stirring, simmer another 2 min, then add the canned tomatoes without peel and mash everything until smooth.

Pour into the pan the sugar and salt, add the vinegar and mix the sauce and bring to a boil, to make low heat and simmer for another 20-25min, stirring the sauce.

Sausages cut crosswise, add the prepared sauce and warm together 5-7min, stirring occasionally.

Serve hot currywurst garnished with or without him.

Sausages before adding to the sauce can be fried in deep fat or just browned in a skillet or oven.
