Fish baked in pita bread

Fish baked in pita bread.

This is one of my favorite ways to cook fish. Fish get a very juicy, pita sheets impregnated with oil and juice of fish and greens – turns out very soft and very tasty. For this recipe, I would recommend the use of less bony varieties of fish as well as fish and is eaten with pita bread as a whole. Serve this dish without the traditional side dishes to fish: potatoes and rice, and a salad with vegetables. Since “lavashovaya breading” in itself can serve as a side dish. Serve definitely hot!

● fish carcass – 1 pc.
● thin Armenian lavash – 2-3 leaves (depending on size)
● Butter – about 100 grams.
● Tomato – 1 pc.
● dill (fresh or dry) – to taste.
● salt, pepper, spices – to taste

1. Prepare the fish: remove the film on the belly, cut off the fins, cut off his head.
2. Cut the tomato into half rings (can be any other way, but rather large).
3. The sheets of lavash grease with butter. This will give the pita bread flavor and softness.
4. In the middle of a sheet spread fish. Salt, pepper, add the spices – to taste. Personally, I am for this recipe only Salts.
5. In the inside of the abdomen put pieces of butter. It will give the fish a little juiciness.
6. Also, the inside of the abdomen put slices of tomato and dill. It is best to use fresh dill (it can be put straight beam or chop). If you use fresh dill – then put it more – just taste better. In principle, you can add and parsley for flavor.
7. Wrap the fish in the first sheet of lavash. Overturn and wrap the second sheet. It must necessarily happen to pita bread on all sides well covered fish to avoid “holes”. If necessary, use a third sheet.
8. Wrap the fish in a pita bread in foil (also very carefully).
9. Put on a baking sheet and put in preheated oven to 180 degrees for about 50 – 60 minutes.
Serve better completely and cut portions.
