Dry dough for pies.

Dry dough is prepared without any liquid products. Only the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, vanilla and margarine (or butter).
This dough resembles the consistency of its chips, and in the process of baking products with it soaked the juices from the filling (filling should therefore be very liquid), and it turns out tender and tasty.

Dry dough for pies – the perfect solution if you have very little time.



150 g butter / margarine

1.5 cups flour

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt


How to make:

Sift the flour into a bowl, add salt and sugar (regular and vanilla), and baking powder, mix well.

Add to flour mixture into small cubes hard butter or margarine, grind or chop with a knife all in a fine crumb.

Put dry dough for the pie in the form, greased on top put a layer of moist stuffing and again pour the filling on the dough dry.
Dry dough can be spread in several layers: the dough, filling, dough, filling, dough, etc. For the filling you can ispolzavat jam or any liquid cream.
