Custard Pie

115 g butter;
480 ml milk;
4 eggs separated;
150 g powdered sugar;
1 T water;
115 g flour;
1 t vanilla extract.

1. Melt butter and set aside to cool. Warm milk to lukewarm. Beat egg whites till stiff.

2. Beat egg yolks with powdered sugar. Pour butter and a tablespoon water and carefully combine.

Add sifted flour and then carefully add milk and vanilla. Fold in egg whites in three stages.

3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan (8*8 in). It will be very liquid but it’s ok.

Bake about 45-60 min. until the top is golden at 175 degrees Calcium.

Let it cool completely. Serve cut into squares dusted with more powdered sugar.
