Croque Madame

Croque Monsieur — the legendary French sandwich with bechamel sauce, which is easily converted into a Croque Madame, we need only to put it on top of fried eggs. Metamorphosis in the name is explained by the French simple: fried it reminds lady’s hat.

INGREDIENTS
bread
cheese
ham
chicken eggs
cow’s milk 250ml
butter 35g
flour 30g
salt
pepper
nutmeg

COOKING PROCESS
1.Cook the béchamel sauce. To do this in a saucepan melt the butter.

2.Fry the flour in it until golden brown, stirring constantly with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper.

3.Grate nutmeg.

4.Replace the spatula on the whisk and stir, pour in the milk gradually. Bring to a boil and pour cheese. Remove from heat.

5.Each toast with one hand Apply a thin layer of butter (it will be «external» side)

6.A «internal» side — bechamel sauce.

7. Baking tray lay a baking paper. Put toast on the oil side of the paper, put on top of the cheese and ham.

8.Close toasts oil side up. Place in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 10 minutes. During this time the toasts should redden, and the cheese melted.
