Cookies “Hearts” with marzipan.



100 g plums. butter (soft)
150 g flour
75g sugar
0.5 tsp baking powder

80g ground almonds (peeled)
60 g of powdered sugar
1 egg white
1 tsp Amaretto liqueur

110 g jam (I had strawberry)
75 g of powdered sugar
2 tablespoons condensed milk
red food coloring or beet juice

1. To prepare the marzipan almonds combine with powdered sugar, protein, liquor and knead thoroughly.

2. Wrap in plastic wrap and ship a few hours in the refrigerator. Butter, beat the sugar, mix with marzipan mass. Then add the sifted flour with baking powder and knead the dough. We wrap it in plastic wrap and send in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

3. Then roll out the dough into a thick layer of 0, 5 cm and cut out hearts. Spread on a greased baking tray with butter, and send in a preheated 180 degree oven for 8 – 10 minutes (it took me 18 minutes).

4. The finished cookies Let cool completely.

5. Marmalade warm up on a low heat and lubricates each cookie using a cooking brush. Powdered sugar is sieved and mixed with the concentrated milk, half the glaze painted in pink color.

6. At half we put the icing hearts white, the rest – pink. I did it with a knife. On the wet glaze can be applied to glaze a different color and with a toothpick to draw a pattern.
