CHOCOLATE CAKE “taste of childhood”.


Eggs – 2 pcs
Honey – 2 tbsp
Sugar – 1 cup
Soda – 2 tsp
Butter – 2 tbsp
Cocoa – 2-3 tbsp
Flour (about 2 cups + for rolling)

Milk – 2 cups
Eggs – 2 pcs
Flour – 2 tbsp
Sugar – 1 cup
Cocoa – 1 tbsp
Vanilla – 1 tsp
Butter – 100 g
Walnuts – 150 g

Dark chocolate – 150 g
Butter – 3 tbsp
Milk – 4 tbsp


For the dough mix the eggs, honey, sugar, baking soda and butter. Place the bowl in a water bath and stir 5 minutes to dissolve all the products. Add the cocoa and whisk until smooth. Flour enter a little, then put the dough on a floured board and knead well. Divide the dough into several parts (I 8). Roll each part separately and bake for about 4 minutes at 180 degrees. Fold the resulting cakes in a pile and set aside.

To whip the cream: milk, eggs, flour and sugar. put on medium heat and cook, stirring constantly. When starts to boil, turn down the flame to low and stir vigorously until the consistency of condensed milk.

After that, remove the cream from heat and add vanilla and cocoa. Leave to cool, stirring occasionally.
The cooled cream add softened butter and beat until smooth.
Walnuts chop and set aside.

Korzh spread with cream (about 3 tablespoons per cake). sprinkle over the cream with walnuts, put the next cake, well pressed, and so on.
The upper cream cake smear is not necessary.
Leave the cake to soak at room temperature for about an hour.

For the glaze to melt the chocolate in a water bath with butter and milk. Pour the icing on the cake and smear it on all sides. Send cake in the refrigerator overnight.
