Chicken sticks in sesame breading.


for the marinade:
-chicken breast – 600-700 g
-buttermilk or yogurt – 1/2 cup
-lemon marmalade – 1 tbsp
-soy sauce – 1 tsp

for breading:
-bread crumbs – 1/4 cup
-raw sesame seeds – 1/4 cup
-olive oil – 1 tbsp
-salt – 1/2 tsp


1. Cournot fillets cut into thick wedges a little more than 1 cm.
2. Mix the marinade ingredients (buttermilk, lemon marmalade, soy sauce) in a medium bowl. Add the chicken pieces in the marinade and mix. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3. While the chicken is marinated, prepare the batter. Heat a medium-sized frying pan with a thick bottom over medium heat. Add bread crumbs and spread them evenly. Reduce heat and cook until golden brown. Add sesame seeds and fry until golden. Remove from heat. Add olive oil and salt; stir.
4. Preheat oven to 200 ° C. Cover the pan with foil, oiled. At one remove from the marinade the chicken pieces, roll them in the bread mixture and spread on a baking sheet.
5. Bake chicken fingers at 200 ° C for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with baked potatoes.
