Cherry strudel of cottage cheese dough.

All the gold, well-baked with a crispy and at the same time, melting in your mouth crust. Meet the perfect cottage cheese dough for homemade strudel. Ideally it becomes due to a long rest in the refrigerator. Simple but important technological method.

Preparation time: 50 minutes + cooling
Servings: 4-6

You will need:

60 g butter
125 g of cottage cheese
Article 1.5. spoons of sugar
170 g flour + meal to work
2 eggs
powdered sugar

To cherry-walnut filling:
300 g cherries (pitted, can be frozen)
1/2 cup walnuts
50 g candied orange peel or orange one
1 h. L. natural vanilla essence
1 h. Cornstarch
1-2 tbsp. spoons of sugar
a little Cointreau

How to cook:

1. One day prior to baking to prepare dough. In a blender mix butter, cottage cheese, flour and sugar into crumbs, add 1 egg and mix until a homogeneous and very soft dough: it departs from the walls of the bowl, and was going around the nozzle. The dough is wrapped in foil and put in the refrigerator overnight.

2. For the filling cherry defrost, allow to drain the juice. Mix the cherries with the sugar, starch, chopped candied fruit and nuts, add the vanilla essence and Cointreau.

3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle between two sheets of baking paper sprinkled with flour.

4. In the middle put the filling, the edges of the dough nahlestnut each other on top of the filling, zaschipnut edge strudel, cherry to not flowed during baking. Lubricate the egg. Bake in preheated 180 degree oven for about 30 minutes.

Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar! Delicious!
