Cake with prunes

Pie at any time of year – delicious. fragrant and so amazing! This cake with prunes. Such as our grandmothers used to bake. Let’s briefly go back to your childhood and remember those unforgettable flavors and taste sensations!

Vanilla essence (dough) for 1 hour. L.
vanilla essence (for glaze) 1/2 hours. l.
Allspice (ground) 1 ch. l.
yogurt (or sour milk, dough) 1 cup
yogurt (or sour milk to glaze) 1/2 cup
cinnamon (ground) 1 ch. l.
butter 50g
flour 1 1/2 cups
Nutmeg (ground) 1 ch. l.
1 cup vegetable oil
sugar (for glaze) 1 cup
sugar (for the test) 1 cup
sugar syrup (or corn) 1 tbsp. l.
baking soda (for glaze) 1/2 hours. l.
baking soda (dough) for 1 hour. L.
1 cup prunes
eggs 3 pcs.

Cooking method:
1.To start a good wash prunes, place it in a saucepan, cover with water and simmer 8 minutes, until it becomes soft.
2.Put the prunes in a bowl
3.And crush with a fork. Remember, our grandmothers Mixers & Blenders were not, and they do an excellent job with pies using simple kitchen appliances.
4.Sift the flour with the baking soda and spices.
5.In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, sugar and vegetable oil. Whisk with a fork until smooth mixture.
6.Add the dry mixture and kefir (sour milk). Mix to connected components, but do not overdo it. Beat not!
7.Carefully add the prunes.
8.Oil the baking dish, pour the mixture into it ready and send in a preheated 150 degree oven for 35-40 minutes. Do not overdo the cake in the oven, otherwise it will be dry.
9.As to the final cake will be ready about 5 minutes, you can begin to glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, sugar, syrup, yogurt (or sour milk), baking soda and vanilla essence.
10.Cook, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted. Bring to a light boil. In this step, stirring is not necessary.
11.Cook for 5-7 minutes, so, until the mixture acquires a light caramel color. Here you need your attention: caramel only need color, consistency is not! Otherwise you do not get watered cake frosting.
