BRUSSELS fruitcake.

This cake is different even more dried fruit, candied fruit and nuts. They are so numerous that the dough is almost not felt. Only have time to savor the taste and guess the new language nut or fruit!


– 500 g of a mixture of dried fruit and candied fruit (use whatever was found at home)
– 100 g of nuts (any)
– 115 g of butter at room temperature,
– 40 ml of brandy,
– 200 g of sugar,
– 3 eggs,
– 220 g flour
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder,
– a pinch of salt,
– A pinch of nutmeg,
– 20 ml brandy impregnation
– Marzipan and sealant for processing.

Cooking method:

Dried fruits and candied fruit cut into desired size, mix with nuts, pour the brandy and leave overnight.

Heat oven to 160 degrees. Shape, with a diameter of 16-18 cm grease, bottom pave parchment.

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add one egg, salt, nutmeg. Add the sifted flour and baking powder, candied fruits and nuts of the present. We mixed well.

We spread into a mold. Bake for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Let cool but still warm prick skewer and pour the alcohol.

We cover the first marzipan, then paste. Better yet, just wrapped in a cloth soaked in brandy and refrigerate few easy weeks, do not forget to impregnate the tissue.
