Bahamas and cooking

Bahamian cuisine stunningly diverse. Sauté onion in butter until golden brown. Add the flour and fry until the flour will not be pale yellow. Bring the cream to a boil and add to the onion mixture, mix well. Cook, stirring often, until the mixture comes to a boil. Reduce the heat and add the wine, salt and pepper. Add the remaining ingredients except cheese and transfer to a deep pan. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at a temperature of 180 ° C.

2 cans of canned pineapple slices or
4 Glasses of fresh crushed pineapple
1 ½ Glasses sugar

1 ½ Glasses sugar (for the test)
450 g butter
6 hr. L. baking powder

1 Glasses cream
a pinch of salt


Pineapples drain (if canned), pour the sugar and cook for about 15 minutes. Set aside.

Flour, baking powder, salt and sugar, mix in a deep bowl. Add the egg, butter and cream, and well mixed. Divide the dough into two parts – the bigger and smaller.
