Apple pie with walnuts in Provencal (French cuisine).

Egg white 2 pieces
Cane sugar ½ cup
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Baking powder 1 tsp
Ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon
Wheat flour, ½ cup
¼ cup walnuts
Apple 2 pieces

1. Peel the apples, cut in half and remove the core. Cut into small cubes.

2. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease with butter a small baking pan or skillet.

3. In a bowl, whisk the whites, vanilla, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon. Then add the flour, nuts and apples. Mix well.

4. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes until tender.

Serve with vanilla ice cream or custard. Instead of apples, you can use any soft fruits and berries.
