Adobo Chicken

Adobo – a popular dish in the Philippines. Prepare it often chicken or pork, though there are fish and vegetable options. Meat stewed in soy sauce mixture, bite and spices, and then fried. It turns rosy and fragrant.

– 1 whole chicken or chicken legs 3-4
– 3 cloves of garlic
– 2-3 bay leaves
– 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
– 1 / 2-3 / 4 cup soy sauce
– 1/3 cup white wine vinegar
– 1 1/2 cups water

1. Mix together in a pot soy sauce, vinegar, finely chopped garlic, bay leaf and pepper
2. Bring to a boil
3. Place the chicken in the pan in a single layer, so that the liquid is almost completely covered chicken pieces. Close the lid, reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes, occasionally turning the chicken pieces
4. Remove the chicken from the pan. This is best done with a slotted spoon to get rid of excess fluid

6. Pieces of chicken fry in a pan until golden brown
Adobo Chicken is usually served with rice, sauce watering.
