Walnut sandwich cookies

Ingredients:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp. wheat flour
2.1 h. L. ground cinnamon
4.1 h. L. salt
120 gr. butter, room temperature
Large sugar or brown sugar, for sprinkling (optional)
3/4 cup pistachios, almonds, pecans, walnuts, peanuts or hazelnuts
Jam, nutella, melted chocolate, for filling

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 160 C. Place the 2 baking parchment paper. Grind to fine crumbs in a food processor nuts, sugar and powder. Add the flour, cinnamon and salt and mix until smooth. Add the butter and mix to get a soft dough.

Form a dough using a teaspoon small balls and put on trays with a prepared length of 2.5 cm. Apart. Slightly flatten the balls with your fingers and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Push in each cookie on a nut or sprinkle with chopped nuts.

Bake pastry in the oven until lightly golden brown, about 15 minutes. Then completely cool, spread half of the filling any pastry and cover the other half.
