Potato pancakes in German

Ingredients:
1 large potato tuber for baking (about 225 gr.)
1/2 head of a medium-sized onion (about 110 gr.)
1 egg
1 tbsp. l. chopped parsley
1 tbsp. l. wheat flour
1 tbsp. l. breadcrumbs
4.1 h. L. dried thyme
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt and ground black pepper
Oil for frying
1/3 cup apple sauce to feed

Preparation:
1. In a food processor or a grater coarsely grate the potatoes and onions in a bowl. Hands squeeze any excess liquid and place the dry potato and onion mixture in a bowl. Add the egg, parsley, flour, breadcrumbs, thyme, lemon juice and seasonings. Mix well.

2. In a heavy skillet, heat 1/2 cup oil. Put a bunch of 1/2 cup the potato mixture into the hot oil, and press, to get oladushek 2 cm thick. Reduce heat to medium. Prepare 5 minutes. on each side, until the fritters become crispy and golden. Serve with applesauce.
