Herring under a fur coat roll

Ingredients
4 g of gelatin
4 medium sized beet
4 carrots
2-3 small potatoes
2 boiled eggs
1 small onion
250g salted herring fillets
100 g of mayonnaise
1 tsp lemon juice
salt
ground black pepper
vegetable oil

1. Preheat oven to 190 C. Wrap the washed but not peeled vegetables (except onions) in foil, place the package into shape and bake for 40-50 min., Until soft. Cool and chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours.

2. Soak gelatine in cold water.

3. Beets clean, grate, squeeze the juice.

4. Heat 100 ml of water, add the gelatin (press sheet). Cook until complete dissolution of the gelatin. Remove from heat, stir in beetroot and lemon juice. Mix the gelatin mixture with beets.

5. Clean and separately grate carrots, potatoes and eggs.

6. Fillet of herring and onion finely chop. Mix onions and herring, season with black pepper.

7. Spread out on the table a large piece of food film, smear with oil. Spread a thin layer of beets, forming a rectangle.

8. Season with salt and pepper, cover another piece of film and tamp. Remove the foil, place the carrots, departing from the edges of the rectangle of the beet. Season with salt and pepper, brush with mayonnaise and tamp.

9. Departing from the edges of the rectangle of carrots, put a layer of potatoes, brush with mayonnaise. Put a layer of eggs, then a wide band — herring with onion.

10. Lift the edge of the film, roll roll. Wrap in foil and store in the refrigerator for several hours. Before serving Put the dish and remove the film.
